For some young mothers, breastfeeding is a challenge and in some cases it may happen to be almost impossible. Stress, illness, and previous surgery are just some of the reasons that can not under-produce a new mother through breast milk. If you have recently given birth and find that, despite all efforts, do not produce enough breast milk, you should talk to your pediatrician at your breast supplement with formula. It can be a bitter pill, but if, like me,addition to notice that your child is still to be decided at the end of a power hungry, it's really a complete no-brainer.

If your child shows signs of allergies or intolerances (gas, diarrhea, etc.) you can start with any basic brand of cow that appeals to you. Note that all formulas sold in the U.S. by the FDA are subject, so you can be sure nutrition guidelines are similar from brand to brand. Similac, Enfamil, Nestle or (and I hope that this wasavailable when I need my baby addition) as Horizon Organic brands are all good places to start. We used powdered milk and bottles for mixing with inserts, but you can also use the formula in super convenient formulas ready to bottle and liquid concentrate that mixes quickly with water. Obviously in your business and work schedule hectic, but if the child is determined on a formula, you can switch between these different types as you need.

Once you geta formula, it will not take long to see if your child does not like or is not compatible with the system. She will tell you clearly, Fussing with tears, her head turned from the bottle, spitting, vomiting or diaper with some really awful, and gas. Definitely ask your doctor about this, but you may need a formula with low or no lactose or go with soy milk. In any case, try not to give your baby regular cow's milk or soy milk ... are simply notnutritionally complete enough for a child's development.

If you can, you should definitely continue to let your baby to the breast with a bottle first. For me it was something like this: I would be a bottle, then sit with my baby to the breast. When he lost interest in breastfeeding, it would give me the bottle, and when once I drink, how much of this bottle, as he wanted. Be aware that the formula from a bottle is much easier to suck itget it from the breast that the baby could be "lazy" about breastfeeding as always breastfeed first and try to be absolutely sure that, before offering the bottle.

Finally, how do you know if your baby formula enough? Not surprisingly, you'll know when to feed your baby is getting enough formula to find the same signs of saturation, that if you are breast-feeding: drowsiness, falling out of the bottle and what could easily call each parent"Noise".

At the end is the best thing you can trust your instincts and do not worry too much, anyway. Finally, we are talking about our children!
